The PassPortes du Soleil MTB - 28-29th June 2008
For mountain-biking fans, head for the Portes du Soleil a the end of June, when over 3000 enthusiasts gather to explore the area. Over the course of the weekend, mountain bikers can discover an 80 km circuit with check-points providing snacks and offering mainly local products (Abondance cheese, local ham, Swiss chocolate, wine…) For more information, go to www.portesdusoleil.com

Feu du Lac (Montriond Lake fireworks night) - 10th August 2008
From around 5pm onwards, you can dine at one of the restaurants, try local dishes from the stalls or take your own picnic and enjoy a superb, relaxed evening by the lake. Watch the parapente display and listen to music from local bands before enjoying the firework spectacle as the sun sets behind the Roc d'Enfer mountain. A fantastic evening!

Saint Jean d'Aulps Great Medieval Festival - Sunday 24th August 2008
