There’s no better way to spend an evening than sat around a full table, drinking wine, eating delicious food and comparing stories of the days events! Breakfast - We’ll start the day with a help yourself buffet – including freshly baked baguettes, croissants or pain au chocolat, delivered each morning by our local boulanger or baked fresh in the chalet - plus a daily special like hot porridge or English cooked breakfast, all washed down with orange juice, tea, hot chocolate and coffee. Lunch - At lunchtime, the choice is yours – dine out at one of the numerous and mostly excellent mountain restaurants or for a small extra charge of €5 pp, we’ll make you a filling packed lunch to munch at your leisure. Afternoon tea - After an exhausting day on the slopes, return to the warmth and comfort of the chalet and a whacking great slab of freshly baked cake and a piping hot mug of tea or coffee to see you through to dinner. Our cakes have become famous with previous guests and we think there'd be a mini-riot if carrot cake was ever removed from the menu!! Evening meals - Dinner will be three courses, all freshly prepared that day. Traditional hearty and filling English meals will be served along with a selection of traditional French dishes from the Haute Savoie region and don’t forget that wine, coffee and mints or chocolates are included! If you have any special requirements, please let us know at the time of booking and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We can also provide a children's menu, with favourites like burgers and chips and pizza, which we are happy to serve earlier in the evening if required. Extra treats - Of course, you might want something extra – maybe a frothy, whipped cream-topped hot chocolate or an ice cold beer! We offer a range of additional food and drink and have a fairly priced honesty bar serving beers, wines and soft drinks - if you want any spirits, please make a quick pitstop at duty free! Sample Menu Tartiflette A local dish of oven-baked sliced potatoes loaded with bacon lardons, garlic, cream and reblochon cheese ~~~ Beef in ale casserole Thick slices of marinated beef, slow cooked for 10 hours with brown ale, mushrooms, onions and garlic, served with a wholegrain mustard mash, dumplings and buttered green beans ~~~ White chocolate and raspberry strudel cake Chunks of white chocolate and juicy raspberries with chewy strands of strudel ~~~ Coffee and mints
